  • The word of God is inerrant and sufficient for all the spiritual needs in matters of godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)

  • The word of God is able bring change even to the deepest of needs. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

  • As Christians we are called to holiness and obedience. (1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 John 2:3)

  • Because of the fall of man (Gen. 3), he is in need of the word and the work of God. (Col. 3:16, John 3:3)
